Dr. Alyssa Zubieta - Veterinarian

Alyssa  Zubieta

Dr. Alyssa Zubieta was born and raised in Katy, Texas and has had a love for animals and teaching for as long as she can remember.

She earned both her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Between earning her degrees and attending veterinary school, Dr. Zubieta wore many hats in the veterinary field. She has worked as a veterinary technician, receptionist, and in clinical pathology laboratories, experiences that helped shape her compassionate and well-rounded approach to veterinary medicine.

Dr. Zubieta’s professional interests include internal medicine, clinical pathology, soft tissue surgery, and neurology. She is passionate about lifelong learning and enjoys continually expanding her knowledge to provide the highest quality care for her patients. She values building strong relationships with pet owners and believes that client education and communication are essential parts of helping pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Outside of work, Dr. Zubieta enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She has two fur babies: a cat named Luna, who has grown up with her, and a cat named Ivy, whom she adopted with her husband during her third year of veterinary school.
