Kirstie Harris

Dr. Kirstie Harris grew up in Houston, Texas and has always had a strong passion for science, medicine, and animals.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Biomedical Science as well. Between graduate school and veterinary school, Dr. Harris worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she gained valuable experience in research and medicine.

Dr. Harris received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Starkville, Mississippi. She is a proud Aggie and a lifelong Texas A&M fan.

Professionally, Dr. Harris has a strong interest in ultrasonography and diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. She is passionate about continuing to grow her skills in these areas to provide thoughtful, high-quality care to her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Harris enjoys reading, bike riding, hiking, traveling, and recently became scuba certified—something she’s excited to pursue more in her free time. She is also looking forward to getting to know the area and becoming an active part of the community.

Dr. Harris has two pets. She adopted her cat, Louie during her third year of veterinary school and more recently, she welcomed a puppy named Murphy through a local Houston rescue.

Dr. Harris is a strong believer in the human–animal bond and the importance of being an advocate for our pets. Her goal is to build lasting relationships with clients, meet all of your furry family members, and help guide medical decisions that enhance both quality of life and the special bond you share with your pets.
